Mine came on the 22nd day. Overall the Columbia process looks super efficient, especially compared to MIT

I guess it depends - the closer you applied to the deadline, the longer should be that period. My guess (pure speculation!) would be 21 days is the minimum period, and it gets longer as more applications come in.

Actually, this might not even be true - if you check earlier posts, some people applied way before the deadline, and it took more than 21 days for them to hear back from the school!

Do not read too much into it!

Just got the call, I'm in!

Submitted application: 9/4 (ED)
Interview Invite: 9/25
Interview: 10/12 - great, conversational interview with recent grad. Mostly asked about why CBS and what I would do while there in terms of student activities.
Feedback: 10/13
Final Decision 10/27

Cannot believe this is happening - I was so worried since I had to wait for so long, but so relieved and ecstatic now!
Good luck to the rest of you, hope to see you all next year!

I was just about to add on to the people here waiting to hear back for an interview. Checked my application status and surprise - I had the form to search for an interviewer. I applied on 10/5 in the evening. No official email yet, so for anyone who hasn't heard back yet, now's a good time to refresh your application status.

I was wondering the same thing myself. Sounds like everyone who received an interview call in ED round has been accepted, self reporting bias much?

There are a couple of denied after interview, but they happened much earlier in the process. It seems for me that as a rolling admission process, getting an interview is the most important part of the process.

Since October 5th applicants are also getting interview notifications, it seems like they are reaching the end of the ED applicant bucket.

Any October 7th applicants received notifications? That will give a tentative view of whether the RD application review has commenced.

All the best everyone!

Applied on the 4th, friend applied on the 3rd. Nothing for both of us but we are internationals, not sure if that makes a difference.

I dont think being international has got to do with the interviews. Its just that the closer you are to the deadline, the more chances you have of the standard time of response extending beyond the usual 3 weeks.

Hi, do you mind sharing you stats? Thank you.

Sure:

Demo: 30, white male, US
WE (at M): 8+years in healthcare, working in top US hospitals, promoted
GMAT/GPA: 760 (split in profile), 3.6GPA in pre-med from mid-range state school
ECs: plenty of research, sports, non-profit
Application: My essays were very CBS focused, with some humor sprinkled in. My recommendations (I assume, I didn't see) were very good, and I spoke with quite a few current students and alumni and attended a ton of CBS events

My interview was with a local alumna, who was very nice and we had a great conversation, mostly asked about why CBS and my interests outside of work.

If anyone wants more color, please PM me and I'll try to answer as quickly as I can, especially non-traditional candidates.

Best of luck to everyone!
