This is definitely not the correct advice IMO. You have demonstrated sufficient potential in your application to warrant a GMAT waiver. Thus you don’t need to focus on academics side at all whatsoever. Even if you could get 800/800 the school wouldn’t bother about it at this point as there are enough high scorers who have brought up the school’s average already. There must be something else lacking in your profile which is why they’ve decided to waitlist you. Kindly join the waitlist webinar to find out how or why it has happened. but it is guaranteed that GMAT/GRE or MBAMATH is not required for you. Else the school would’ve specified that, As it has for many others including me, that I need to improve my GMAT as my overall academics is lacking.

How did you know this? Did the adcom mention this in their mail to you? Or did you mail them asking for this feedback?

You have to do mbamath if you’re accepted.

Find a way to stand out and show Cornell you are a level above.

And yes if you got a 800 the school would 100% care.

Were you WLed in R1?

Also, do you mean the WL webinar? How will they give such personalised feedback on a webinar with so many people? Am I missing something?

Hi all, I’m very new to the GMAT/GMAC. I gave my GMAT in the mid of Feb (online mode), haven’t received any official score card yet. How do I get my official score card?

Did you get over a 700? If so it takes up to 30 business days. Otherwise it will be emailed to you in a week.

Yes, 710. I read some where that in GMAT online mode, you don’t get a PDF copy of the Score Card. Is it true? I can see the score on mba.com in view score section. But I wanted a PDF report of my Score Card.

Adcoms don’t give personalized feedback - you have to keep conversing with them and analyzing your own profile - once you point out a weakness - such as in my case the GMAT then they’ll say yes - I asked for mbamath and they specifically told me to "NOT EMPHASIZE ON MBAMATH " as GMAT improvement will be more helpful(yes those were the exact words)

Hello all, I’d applied in round 2 and was invited for the interview (interview happened on 8th March). The email already mentions that the final notification date is April 6, 2023. Any R1 applicants who got the final decision before the notification date?
