Hey all, I just wanted to clarify about the LEAD events/Park Fellowship. I just attended an admissions event, and they mentioned that LEAD invites only come out after you interview. The implication is that there will be multiple LEAD events.

Did anyone else register for the LEAD event next Friday? I just registered, I didn’t realize it’s a 6 hour event. Must mean one is accepted right? Cause why else would they waste both your time and theirs Well at least I hope that means acceptance since i will need to use a PTO day to participate

I registered and yeah it’s a long event sadly so I’m also gonna have to use PTO If the portal is considered the official offer letter then it would list out your scholarships if you received any

I'm almost certain that a LEAD invite implies an acceptance based on the Adcom's verbiage. They said if you are being considered for the "flagship" scholarship, you will be invited to LEAD, and all other will receive a decision. Seeing how some have already received acceptances with LEAD invites, I think a LEAD invite is good news. That being said, don't take my word for the truth. I haven't interviewed yet!
