Does anyone know anything about round 3? I didn't get an app in to Darden for Round 2 but have since regretted it tremendously and would like to apply if there's much of a chance of acceptance? And do they give any money out to Round 3 applicants? Thanks and good luck to everyone waiting to hear back.

Don't quote me, but based on the information in the thread above it seems like they've prioritized reviewing Consortium and international applicant profiles first. I haven't heard anything back either.

From last year they have interview invites going out well into February. But what do you mean? You applied last year? Or 30 Jan of this year? Isn't that well after R2 deadline?

I think invites will continue to come out through February as LiveWire has invites going through February. Also if you look at intake threads, last year at least 50+ applicants received II...for this year, seems only 9 have.

I kind of doubt the whole international / consortium theory. Haven't heard of a single interview invite being sent to any Indian candidate either here or on livewire. Unless somebody can surprise me. Besides, Darden states that interview invites can be sent right upto decision date i.e. mar 23rd. If we take a conservative estimate that they stop taking interviews a week or so before the decision date, that still leaves us with the entire month of February for an invite and a subsequent interview. I guess we all need to think positive and not jump the gun about a ding so early.

I second loki2686 . Just pulled up some stats from forum database and here is what I found....

As on date, number of applicants invited for interview is 15 of which 2 are consortium, 2 from US, 1 from Argentina, Brazil, and Chile each. 8 applicants have preferred not to disclose their nationality on forum.

Last year there were 158 applicants in R2 of which 64 (40%) were invited for interview. This includes 9 Consortium invites also. First invite was reported on January 15th and last one on February 23.

Hope that helps!! Please update your profile status as soon as you receive the invite so that we can have clearer stats. Good luck to all those who are waiting!

Woohoo..Congrats!!! So we now have 3 Consortium, 2 US General, 1 from Argentina, Brazil, and Chile each, and 8 applicants from undisclosed locations. Good luck to all who are waiting. Keep us posted.
