Did you select a date? Do you have any ideas on what they ask? I have scheduled mine on 17th.

Not specifically but I have given a couple of interviews already. I think it would be along those lines.
Have a college senior at Darden now. will connect with him in the weekend and know Darden specifics.
What about you? Where are you based and what are your plans?

I am terrified. Have applied to limit number of colleges. Have not been ambitious at all. Trying to play safe, I think Darden might also be ambitious for me. I am currently stationed at Hyderabad. I am a Mechanical Engineer working in a Mining PSU. Will have 4 years of work ex in the fall.

Congratulations to everyone from India who finally got the interview invites!
It does seem like they're giving the invites out by location.
I'm assuming that my chances of getting one have dropped drastically :(

Hey guys,

I just interviewed with Darden. There weren't any curveball questions. FYI, they're still reviewing applications, so please don't lose hope yet.

Sure. I have mine tomorrow. Will post my experience once I'm done.
However I doubt if that really helps as the interviewer doesn't have our resumes and the questions asked will depend on what we chose to talk about.

Hi everyone!

Had my interview last week, via skype with an adcom member who was extremely warm and smiled thru all the conversation.

These are the main questions she asked:

Tell me about yourself
Why did you enjoy being an exchange student
What challenges do you have in your company
What things make you proud at your company
What kind of things do you need to grow in your leadership style
Why MBA
Why Darden
Any questions for me?

As someone mentioned, they are all blind interviews so it is a little bit different from a regular interview.

Be prepared, be honest and enjoy the ride... All the best!

I had an interview on campus with a member of adcom. It ended up being a little less "traditional" than the other interviews I had done. Rather than ask me direct questions, she instructed me to walk her through my life story and explain the thought process behind major decisions in my life (what undergrad, what major, why first job, why b-school, why darden, etc.). If I strayed off path, she would redirect me with a quick statement or question. It was like an expanded version of "walk me through your resume".

I initially struggled with this format as I was prepared to answer questions and have a back and forth discussion but after a few minutes I started to settle in and the interviewer was extremely warm and friendly which helped me loosen up.

Indian applicant here. Received an interview invite on 16th. My mail says that alumni will contact within 10 business days. How did other Indian applicants get the Skype option?
