According to the Fuqua COVID-19 Webpage, Orientation will now start on August 31, 2020 with classes beginning on September 3, 2020. Those who cannot make it then will have the option to begin the program online, with their classmates on campus, and then join everyone in Durham as soon as they are able.
Yes, Fuqua does wait-list without an interview. If one wants to make certain they interview, they could apply during early action which has open interviews I believe.
Hi Everyone, Fuqua Round 3 decisions will be released on April 20th. We have the following chatroom reserved for the Fuqua. For R2, Fuqua called most of the admitted applicants. So, Good luck for that phone call tomorrow
Did not receive an email but checked the portal around 5pm EST and saw a denied message - no reference to a waitlist. Not sure why they interviewed me if they wouldn't at least put me on the waitlist. Odd, but moving on. Good luck to everyone looking to get off the waitlist!
Seems like a handful of admits (mainly from waitlist) and a large number of people added to the waitlist in R3. With the deposit deadline coming up later this week, wonder if that will give them more clarity on number of spots that still need to be filled.
I was waitlisted in R1 and it's been 5 months now. I have finally got a reject. I have been sending Regular updates every month and continuously engaging with the student community for last 5 months. I wish I hadn't spent that much time and focussed on some other school. I think Fuqua should change their policy of waitlisting a huge number of applicants and then ask all of them to keep the school updated.

Sorry about the disappointing news. Unfortunately, i think the location may have worked against you here (even more than being an Indian applicant normally does) with the uncertainty around the Covid-19 situation
