Is there benefit in terms of consideration for scholarship, etc. if one applies in Round 1 over Round 2?
I’d say the benefit is marginal because I applied in R1 and got waitlisted and then finally got the admit in R2 with a scholarship. Same for a few folks here who applied in EA and then made it from the waitlist in later rounds.
That being said, the general trend is always that it’s better to applier sooner than later as the scholarship fund is a fixed amount but only if you are ready with your application.

I was waitlisted at Fuqua after applying in R1 and then made it off the waitlist during the R2 decisions. Fuqua was my top choice school, so after going through a roller coaster of emotions, I am extremely happy and grateful that I get to attend my dream school. I look forward to answering your questions about everything ranging from the application process, my thoughts behind why Fuqua was my top choice school, how I made it off the waitlist, building your B-School ready resume, etc.
As you wrap up the zoom session, please feel free to drop in any questions that you might have regarding the Fuqua application/application process. We’re here to help!
