Might be too pushy, imo. Especially without a conversation. Also, as a general rule - do not connect with any alum or current students without a conversation. Talk to them first, learn about them, share what you want about your profile, and then connect. It’s more meaningful that way. I really don’t know if there is a right way of going about this. I personally did not do that because they didn’t offer that option explicitly ever AND if I remember correctly, during one of the adcom zoom sessions, in response to a similar question, they did mention that there are a lot of ways to connect with the adcom instead of reaching out to them on social media. coffee chats are the way to go!

100% agreed. You can choose to follow them (or follow Fuqua’s LinkedIn page) for updates, but don’t drop a connection request

I did reach out to current students and recent graduates on LinkedIn, they were extremely responsive and very helpful during this entire application journey!
