Hi People Hope all of you are well I had a question regarding my interview status. I recently received an email stating The interview invitation process is highly selective, and we regret to inform you that you have not been invited to interview. Please note that this is not a final decision on your application; you will receive your final admission decision on October 19, 2023. Your application remains under review at this time. Does this mean I am on a waitlist or is it Fuqua’s way of saying that I am rejected.

From what I learned talking to students, you can mention other ways but best to do so as honorable mentions. The essay is pretty short so I don’t think you will be able to go in-depth on more than 3 ways.

The interviewer’s scheduling app sent me a google meet link. The interview invite says interview will be on Zoom. Not sure if I am reading too much into this.

And probably the google meet invite suffices

Apart from the confusion about the link and the call starting 5 mins late (which worried me), it went pretty smooth. The interviewer was very congenial, asked a lot of questions which were standard. But was also genuinely interested in the applicant’s experience and anecdotes and asked several questions to gain more perspective on it.

One should still stick to the word limit. -10 words is fine; however, it should not be lesser than that and definitely not more.
