Hi All, hoping someone can help with this. Since Duke has both EA and R1, is it much more difficult to get an admit in R2 since most of the class is filled? Have a waitlist from Darden so far and interviewed with Booth. Indian with BS and MS in Engineering (MS from US), 740 GMAT, 4 years of work ex in Aug 2024 (2.5 years in Biotech). Average extra curriculars. Long term goal is to get into sustainability for the life sciences/healthcare industry. Trying to figure out if I should apply this year or wait for EA next year. Posted from my mobile device
That really depends. If you’re expecting a change in your profile after you’ve applied in R2, by all means apply regardless. Yes, you’re right about the odds (but there’s good enough seats still available). Your odds for EA will be better of course but since there could be a major change in your profile by then, you can still be a successful reapplicant
It really depends a lot on a few things but so long as something major is changing, definitely suggest applying regardless.
