I interviewed around 12/20/2010, submitted my final application on 12/30/2011. I don't remember the exact day it went complete, but I believe it was about a week later or so.

So just over 4 weeks since submitted and maybe about 3 weeks after it went complete.

Hi Everyone,

If I submitted Jan 4, but there was some discrepancies with one of my attached items, and my application did not go complete until Jan 29, should I anticipate a decision 4 weeks from now? Or should I be looking this week/next week?

Without knowing a date I am constantly checking my status :)

7th dec..result on 13th dec.....no school is safe school :lol: ....emory has drastically shrunk their batch size to 135....last year batch only 3 to 4 indians :( .......

Sorry to hear that time4mba. Emory has a good conversion rate of the waitlisted applicants. I would suggest you hold tight. Many waitlisted applicants are current students in the senior batch.

Sorry to hear about the waitlist. Please do not make up statistics on the number of Indians in the class though. The class of 2012 has at least 15 people (out of 133) who are from India.

MBAentrep, in my case it took slightly less than 4 weeks once my app went complete and about 4 weeks once submitted. I checked OPUS daily and one day it looked a bit different (with new pending tasks) and the decision letter was waiting. I received a phone call and an email several days later. They said I should be receiving a packet in the mail, but I have not received it yet. Note that if you're applying to the full-time program, you'll be notified of scholarship decisions immediately, but if you're applying to the evening program, you'll have to wait until early April.

As a side note, Georgia State offered me full tuition plus a $5,000/year stipend as part of their Graduate Research Assistantship program. But it requires 12 hours of dedicated research work with a professor each week and I can't do it because of work schedule conflicts! Bummer...

if you want you can do it of course, im just worried there wont be enough traffic on it....Emory isnt well repped on this board....its small.

Give them some time. The wait definitely is the hardest part, but give them at least 4 weeks from the interview before expecting to hear back.

Considering last year decision timeline, i believe we would get to know by end of this week. Not sure why would they want to delay their decision.

I submitted my app on 1/31, and still haven't got an interview invite....don't know about the other guys.
