hey guys, after submitting the application I received a mail saying i'll recieve another mail with information about how to access opus...but haven't received any till now...
anyone else in the same boat??

I do not remember getting such an email. I don't find any such detail in the acknowledgement email I got.

What was the subject of the email you got which states about opus?

I haven't got such a mail! Did you apply in their previous portal? The school changed its application portal recently. Or did you apply to a dual degree program or something?

This is the mail I got:
Sub: Thank you for your Goizueta MBA application
Dear XXX:

Thank you for applying to Goizueta Business School. Your application will be complete after all required items have been received. You should monitor the items that are needed to complete your application using your checklist in our online system. Please allow five business days for hard-copy materials to be updated after they arrive in our office.

A few timely application notes:
Interviews: Evening and Executive MBA applicants must complete a required admissions interview before their application is considered complete. Full-time MBA applicants, who have not interviewed by the deadline and/or who would like consideration for a web interview, will be considered for an interview invitation after all other application documents are received.
Test Scores: We require official test scores (GMAT, GRE, TOEFL, etc.) sent directly from the testing agency. Your application will remain incomplete until those scores are received. (Exception: Test scores are not required if you are applying to the Executive MBA program and have been granted a GMAT or GRE waiver).

Thanks for the help JA!!

I registered on the link you gave...and found 3 items on to-do list....
1) application fee
2) GMAT score
3) Interview

I'm already done with the fee and score part....the 3rd i don't know what it means...description is not so clear about it and neither have i received any invite via mail.

Its getting super confusing!!


and yes i did apply in the previous portal!!

Okay this settles the confusion. I believe very few people in this thread would have applied through the old portal.

If I were you I'll go through last year's thread to get a hang of this system.

Hey Juggler, read this post calling-all-emory-goizueta-applicants-2016-intke-class-of-200210-100.html#p1591601. Appears as if OPUS is only for those who applied using the old application system!

Emory applicants from India - I just remembered this and thought I must share it with you:

Heather Holland, from Emory admissions, usually visits India in December. During my interview on campus she told me that she is making a trip this year as well. In my understanding all Indian shortlisted applicants are called for a face to face interview in a city in India during her December trips. Having said this, maybe, Indian's might get their interview invites a little later than the other applicants!
