I didnt submit a very satisfactory video essay.. there were kind of hiccups vs how seamless my interview went... hope video essay doesnt hold a lot of weightage.. Does it??
I kind of fumbled in the most simple question( tell us about your first job) and had to cancel that recording and the next one was way too big to talk about in 1 min (tell us about a belief you challenged and what triggered it)

Nope video essays are not a make or break. Same goes for other component of your application. Just be proud of yourself that you re done with them , it is no small feat!

Thanks a lot buddy! I said the phrase "You Know" 5 times in the last 20 seconds of my submission! Best of luck to you too
I got an email saying I’m missed paying the application fee. But I did get a waiver by attending an event. Anyone else in the same boat?

Did you see application fee waiver after you submit the application? I remember when i submitted, under fee tab it mentioned application fee waived. You can write a mail to admission about the same (in case your event registering ID is different from the application ID let them know so that they can adjust, that is what they mentioned in earlier mail when the event got concluded)
I didn’t see the fee waiver option actually, but I used the same account/email. I’ll write to AdCom. Thank you!

Hi Guys, Must we use two recommenders? One of my recommenders just lost a family member and it's not a good time for me to pester them about something that will seem as trivial as recommendation for somebody considering the circumstance. Can we use just one?

I think it is better that you approach the admission team with a mail detailing your situation.
