I wrote to Esade. Got a reply which is ' We will let you know the outcome tomorrow. Given the high number of applications, we had to divide the admissions committee in two this time.'

If this is the case for early rounds, it will only get more challenging with later rounds especially for Indian candidates. Hope for the best!

Did anyone get accepted and is considering withdrawing because of the political situation?

On the contrary, I just reserved my place. Here's the school's official standpoint: https://www.esade.edu/web/eng/about-esad ... o-politico

Hey everyone! Got admitted earlier in December and I confirmed my place in the program a few days back.

A little about me:

What I do professionally: I'm a 25-year-old Social Entrepreneur from Mumbai, India (Anyone close-by, let's catch up!!). I have worked at corporates such as Zomato and Standard Chartered after which I started a social venture that introduces life-skill education to underprivileged children by the means of sports and fitness activities. Off late, I have also been involved in the design and development of an eco-tourism project.

What I've studied in the past: I did a BBA program with an Entrepreneurship specialisation from FLAME University in Pune, India. My studies were set in a liberal education framework, which means that alongside studying how to make a b-plan and understanding cashflows, I was studying courses such as advanced philosophy, anthropology and a few really off-beat subjects like the history of rock music, sculpture etc :-D

What I do in my spare time: I am obsessed with fitness and have always been a sportsperson. I'm currently really invested in the sport of powerlifting. I also design my own workout programs, since fitness is very possibly the industry that I would like to be part of in the future. I also love playing football and practising combat sports. I'm a big-time foodie, you can always count on me to come restaurant hopping in Barcelona!

I really look forward to meeting all of you talented folk from around the world, see you'll in Barcelona this September! Cheers!

mspmet congratulations on getting the interview invite!

My interview experience was very extremely good. The interviewer was very professional in terms of punctuality and preparedness to conduct my interview. She had really done her homework and had prepared questions that managed to touch upon every important aspect of my online application.
My tip: Go through your essays again, it's a one-hour interview and one last brush-up will help you structure your thoughts. In my experience, I was answering all of my written essay questions verbally during that one hour.
Another highlight of the interview was how it seemed more like a conversation, rather than being a standard one-hour grilling session that most people expect at a big school/organisation. This really worked well for me.
Also, have all of your questions ready, my interviewer really encouraged questions. It was around my questions that the conversation was built and I believe that this enabled me to structure my interview better.

All the best! :-)
