Question for those waitlisted in R1 and later also waitlisted in R2, was there any update in your portal during R2 decision date? i.e you were asked to reconfirm your waitlist interest, or the message stayed the same as when you received the R1 waitlist (date and etc)

Won’t expect too much after June (if international). Cases rarely arise and it’s not very responsible on any school’s part to do that given the visa approval timelines.

The whole MBA industry is a joke. Waitlists are disrespectful (7-8 months making you wait???)—all to protect yield ratios—and having people wait and apply for a more extended period than the complete MBA is something that must change! ( good people receive offers and start projects .... during the process of application, I was in a talk with an M7 teacher and he shared a quote by "Ramon y Cajal" <The mediocre can be educated; geniuses educate themselves>. Don't allow Dings or Waitlist to mark you as not valid ... remain moving, exploring, and learning... educate yourselves and avoid others telling you if you are valid! (Sadly, many MBAs, despite what they say we like to bet on individuals, they ask you for your goals to put you in a cookie mold to sell you as a product to consulting, PE, or IB, just a safe "bet" on clones year over year)

My freedom and ability to create have more value outside of a Mold-MBA ;)

Totally hear you, (voicing what so many feel but rarely let it out). The MBA process can feel like many things; it's definitely a patience test. Waitlists can feel dehumanizing. The lack of clarity and the extended limbo. Don’t let a ding or waitlist define you. If it aligns with your path, great. If not, you're already writing your own brilliant story. Keep creating, exploring, and owning your path. Keep going. Good luck and best wishes for the future...

I feel you all. When I saw 750 Score flashing on the screen I thought finally the gates of T10s are now open for me. One year down the line, I got rejected from all T10.

This was followed by a 7-8 month long waitlists in 4 of those colleges
