I received an interview invite today. Should I choose the pre-recorded interview or one with a current student? Your insights would be greatly appreciated. Edit: I'm not seeing any available live interview slots at the moment. Do you think there's still a chance that new slots might open up later, or is this likely the final availability? Should I wait and keep checking, or assume there won't be any more opportunities?

In person is much easier I think, you have a read on the person, body language etc. But the recorded one is reviewed by adcom. One client had the postman banging nonstop on his door but still got accepted. Make sure you have a totally silent environment.

Are the R1 interview invites done or there are still chances?

Still a chance for sure...they take forever, this is just phase 1 - but I really encourage everyone to assertively apply to R2 programs rather than sit, worry, hope and wait which is quite disempowering imo “Interview invitations are extended 4 weeks after the application deadline, and continue on a rolling basis until the deadline for your round. You will be notified by email if you are invited to interview.”

do they usually send them out in batches?

Good day, I woke up to my interview invite today. I am African. Maybe truly its in batches and by region. I submitted application on the 9th and Video on the 13th of September!
