I would have to hand in my notice by late September... I don't think he would get out of his way to withdraw/change the recomm, but it's not a risk I want to take. I also want his recommendation at least for GSB, so I really don't know what to do. The MBA plan is way more important than this job offer, so I have some figuring out to do.

That’s an interesting situation you got there. Are you planning to hand in your notice before mid-October? If so, then it all depends on your relationship with your supervisor. If he/she is a descent person then they won’t bother creating any trouble for you. If not, then you can always email adcom anonymously (e.g. fake email, pretend you are R2 applicant).

After tomorrow at noon ET (assuming you're Round 1), no.

Hello all!
For those who submitted, I wanted to confirm 3 things:

1. Are we supposed to see a green checkmark after making a payment?
2. I never sent my official transcript... :) How did Harvard get mine from my uni on August 24th?????
3. Don't know what cache application is but this is missing a green checkmark for me.

Congrats on your submission!
1. I can only see the word "received" but no green check next to it. I think as long as you paid and you have word "received" next to it, you should be fine.
2. Have you attached a scan of your transcript in your application? You only need to submit scan now, they require a hard copy only if you are accepted.
3. It just acknowledges that your application was received, I have a page icon instead of green check next to it.

3. I looked at the code and, apparently, that icon next to the "Received Cached Application" is supposed to represent a Document.
So, yeah they used a green checkmark icon for everything else but a "Document" icon for the application because, you know, the application is a document. :P

2. Your unofficial one is the "official transcript". Don't worry about it.

If you are interested in seeking support from a former applicant with successful admissions to HBS and Stanford, send me a DM and I will share with you an intake survey.

I have helped both new applicants and re-applicants gain admissions to the two programs and would love to take in 5-6 applicants for this admission cycle based on my availability and mutual fit.

Thanks!

No offense mate, but I find this marketing strategy of yours funny. Without your credentials established, why would anyone be willing to work with you? Get my point? :|

Not offended at all, and a fair point! It's intentional since I want it to be a mutual selection process and manage the workload. This isn't my full-time job and I enjoyed working with a small handful of applicants in the past.

Unfortunately, it still doesn't establish any credentials. To be honest, I'd be wary of such promotions/offers. Marketing without credentials comes out as Spamming! And GMATClub strictly discourages such posts. Moreover, if someone has to work with a consultant she/he would be working with consultants such as SBCErikaOlson or NateFromHBS etc. (just quoting examples; strictly not promoting anybody here), who have helped people on this forum and have established credentials.

Tomorrow I can also post something similar to what you have posted and ask applicants to work with me. But, I would not do anything like that without establishing my credentials. I suggest you question yourself 'why would anyone be willing to work with me?'.
