This is about the reason that I hit submit - today I was updating my essay file because something was not in Italic lol at that point, I knew that getting it away from me was the best thing to do. You've probably done your best and another 24h won't make a huge impact on your application.

(I sound very wise and mature, but I'm honestly freaking out and not sure how I'll survive until "mid october")

I can completely relate to you rn. But I am not ready to hit the submit button yet! Maybe I will find that one tiny speck of mistake that I don't want the Adcoms to notice!

Finally submitted my application, in for R1!

Crazy how I've been working at this thing for months, and I still find changes to make the day of submission. It truly is a long, introspective process to build an MBA application. I never would have dreamed this much reflection would go into an application for graduate school when I started this journey, it's very cool :)

Has anyone submitted their application yet?

I submitted on August 25... seems too early. I realized several minor grammar and formatting mistakes after that

Does anyone know if a recommender can change their letter after being submitted?

They can email HBS adcom asking for an access to their portal, but is it critical though?

I actually got a new job offer and was wondering if my current supervisor could withdraw the recommendation if I decide to leave my current company... (among all things to worry when applying)

You will be fine, don’t stress out. I’m not sure if it is possible to get it 100% grammatically correct. I proofread my final revision several times and every time people found some minor mistakes, so don’t worry about it. Mind you, those people were either ex-adcom or professional copywriters.

That’s an interesting situation you got there. Are you planning to hand in your notice before mid-October? If so, then it all depends on your relationship with your supervisor. If he/she is a descent person then they won’t bother creating any trouble for you. If not, then you can always email adcom anonymously (e.g. fake email, pretend you are R2 applicant).
