Imagine writing a bullet point for your CV and add just a little bit on top. You dont have to focus on every single little details, take a step back and think if you have 20 seconds to tell your story, how would you frame it.
Also, would not having traditional leadership experience be a disadvantage? Are there alternatives ways to showcase this?

This is really useful. In continuation to this question, was the tonality of your responses always professional (as in a resume) or were you able to express a little bit of your personality in your responses?

Hi! I have a question since you got in with a great GRE. Would you say you had any difference in your experience or a bias during or even post the application process since you wrote the GRE as opposed to the GMAT?
No difference at all

25% of class gets in with a GRE

is not having a leadership role in 5 yrs long career a setback?
think broader on leadership if you can, does not have to be official leadership role but leading a team thru projects, leading in community service, etc.

nearly 9 months. I started freelancing at that time
That is indeed long, you will have to explain this in the additional essay section and talk about this in your essay as to what perspective it gave you and how does it fit in your overall story

Hi guys, what tips do you have for undergrad students who are applying for 2+2 in the future? Is having your own startup really important to get in? As I’ve noticed in many deferred applicant’s profiles that they have their own startups
?

Honestly, just looking at numbers will not be very helpful. HBS is more about your story and how you craft that message, that is what matters, my 2 cents

Not the best person to answer this since i was not a 2+2 candidate. Again, some sort of entrepreneurship exp. is always a plus, if you can show case that with leadership positions in out-of-class activities with a solid story, you should have a decent chance

Thank you for the answer. And just another question if I may. How long have you prepared your application. Especially how long did it take you to write essays?

Personally, the application process for me (outside GMAT) took about 8-9 months before the application deadline. Everyone will be different, but you want to have enough time to be thoughtful about your application. HBS essays took me a lot of drafts :)))
