i am sure you will hate this answer but here it is: its a holistic application. If you GPA was low for a specific reason, talk about why it was low, what could you have done better, what perspective did it give you. They are just trying to get to know YOU! for the essay only..

Hi nhatanh811, can you share how you manage to get the letter of recommendation. Just let our supervisor/coaches say what they feel, or should we have something as reminder to them?

def find someone who works closely with you and can speak highly about your achievements/be your cheerleaders. Because my recommenders are busy and have a lot going on, I would remind them of the times we worked together and what my contributions are.
