Harvard Business School at MBA Spotlight 2026: Key Takeaways A second-year HBS student shared insights during the MBA Spotlight Fair on June 10, 2026. Financial Aid HBS offers need-based financial aid only; there are no merit scholarships. International students are eligible for financial aid. Applicants need to submit detailed financial documents, and aid is calculated through a formula-based process. Students can petition for increased aid if their circumstances warrant it. Academic Experience The first year is built around the Required Curriculum, also known as RC. Students work through a large number of cases across the program and are divided into sections of around 95 students. The first year ends with a field immersion project abroad.
