Hi Pif96 ! With almost 5 years of experience in consulting and a strong academic background, you're on the right track for MBB post-MBA. However, a 595 GMAT score is on the lower end, so retaking it is crucial to improve your chances. The Sept 25 intake, Feb. round is also viable, but it's best to aim for a higher GMAT score 700+. If you feel confident about your overall profile (Essays, LORs) and your GMAT is also in place by that time, you can apply in the Sept 25 Feb. round otherwise it is recommended improving your GMAT score and apply in Jan 26' intake, R2, giving you time to strengthen your application. HEC has also mentioned this on the official website "we encourage you to apply as early as possible, especially if you require on-campus housing or need a student visa." Gmat 700+ is impossible to be honest
... Do u refer to Focus edition? Because every current student there but also in other BS in Europe tell me that the average is 615 and sometimes there are students also with score around 550!

Pif96 - The profile looks good on the surface, based on the details you've shared. However, the GMAT score could use some improvement.
Given that HEC has around 9-10 rounds per intake, applying in Feb isn't too late, provided your profile and application are strong. For instance, this candidate applied in the penultimate round and got into HEC with scholarships.
The decision on whether to apply in Sep vs Jan would also depend on whether you can wait (to start until Jan), if you're looking to do one (or two internships), the option to complete within 12 months, etc. which are some aspects where the two intakes differ.
