Hi nipunjain14,

I really believe that's a nice result. Anyway, HEC states their average at 690, so "roughly" half have lower score and still get their admissions. Honestly, I have the same story with my score, but will apply and concentrate on other strong sides.

Best of luck nipun and Live4fun.

Hi Ameer,

Many thanks for your willingness to help! Can you please advise if the Admission committee is okay if number of words in essay exceeds let's say for 10%. (not 250 but 275 etc.). Any ideas about that?

Best regards!

There is no standard rule around that. Even if someone says yes u can go above, it will boil down to who is reading ur essays and what kind of mood he is in. 250 words should mean 250 to you. If i am an admission officer, i have been reading applications all day long, tired of reading long essays and then i pick up ur application I see u have crossed ur word limits. Thats a straight away negative impression. Why do u want to risk it. I would not recommend you to go upto 275 words. In worst to worst case go up to 255 words not more than that.

There is no thumb rule around this..better not risk it.

Hi Ameer,

Thanks! I managed to go with 250 to be on a safe side.

Hi Guys, I'm applying for the September 2017 intake as well and I've just completed my interviews. I was wondering if anyone could let me what are the chances of being rejected post interviews. I believe the interviews went well for me but the anxiety is getting to me with each passing day. Any opinions on this would be appreciated

Is the admissions jury happening today?
So there's a chance we might hear back by EOD?

Indeed. Chances look slim for today. Only 1 hour left for 5PM CET
