Here's my profile:
GMAT - 730
Undergrad GPA - 7.4/10
Undergrad degree - Electronics and Instrumentation engineering
College - BITS Pilani Goa Campus, India
Work -
3 years in analytics in a Fortune 50 retail company
1.5 years in product management in digital space in a company (based out of France) in the Luxury segment.
Post MBA goal
Tech roles in Europe, or middle East (if exists)
Given my profile and the fact that I'm from an overrepresented pool, what are my chances considering I'll be applying in round 6 (Jan deadline)?

StrawberryDembaBa - The GMAT score (assuming Q/ V split was balanced) and undergrad pedigree are strong.
Work-ex seems interesting, given the analytics/ PM and Luxury/ France angles. Any promotions within the roles, and did you interact with global teams?
While you belong to an overrepresented pool on the surface, highlighting key achievements in the roles, transferable skills, and having a strong narrative on how HEC fits in can help differentiate. Would also suggest having more clarity on post-MBA roles i.e. what domains/ functions within tech, which geographies within Europe etc. As Extra-Curriculars aren't mentioned, I'm unable to comment on that.
While we can't speculate on chances, R6 is not terribly late (HEC has 10-11 rounds per intake), if you go in with a strong application.

I'll add some more details.
Goals:
- My honest goal is to get a good degree, pay off the debt, and come back to India (with some savings if possible).
- I'm agnostic to working in any industry/function, but I would prefer a tech role in the tech industry as it gives a decent work-life balance with decent pay and growth chances in India/SEA/Gulf. While I'm a sincere and hard-working professional, it would be great if I could get a degree that helps elevate my career in India/SEA/Gulf. India is first preference 10 years down the line.
- Hence, in my essays I want to write a goal that helps me get into college. I had a rejection from ISB and I was surprised that I was not even in the WL given the interview went well. I guess that it was because I wrote the post-MBA goal as consulting and the consulting placements suck this year (and it kinda sucked the previous year compared to other years), plus I didn't have a consulting background.
Geography:
Given my goal, the location I would love to work after HEC is in the Middle East(because of no/low tax). Please feel free to suggest any other location given my goal.
Extra curriculars:
- I've been volunteering in data analytics for an organization called CRY since last Nov.
- In my college days, I played football for the college in intercollege tournaments as well as in amateur and semi-professional leagues under Goa Football Association.
- For one semester, I coached the girl's football team in college and led them to the finals in the annual sports fest.
- Worked as PR head for 1 year for the classical music and dance club in college, responsible for footfall during club-organized events.
Promotions/Achievements/Global exposure at work:
3 years as data analyst:
- Received 1 promotion during my tenure as a data analyst after 1.6 years. Data analyst -> senior data analyst. Apart from more work and responsibilities, I was also entrusted with conducting analytics rounds during interviews across India and US offices.
- Worked daily with stakeholders in the US office. For a year, was also part of a hybrid team wherein 2/6 members and the manager were based out of US hq while I was based out of Bangalore.
1.5 years as PM:
- I report to the Singapore office. Except me and my manager (who moved back to India sometime ago), the rest of the Product Team, product leadership, and business stakeholders are based out of Singapore. Also, I have frequent interactions with colleagues from Australia and Korea, apart from Singapore.
- Received the "Business Value Chief" accolade in the quarterly tech awards, because of a feature I delivered that helped bring in substantial additional revenue.
Also, HEC isn't the only option I'm exploring. My goal as I said is to get a good degree, pay off my debt, and move back to India as fast as I can. So please feel free to suggest other schools wherein I can achieve this. Open to US, Singapore, and other Europen schools as well.
