I’m sure all the people here that still have to take their interview are curious to hear more about it.

Sorry, will add the details.

The interview debriefs here in gmatclub are awesome. I picked all the probable questions, prepared my life story, short introduction to my education, current job etc.

The interviewer was really cool, made the interview seem like a casual conservation.

Even after all the preparation, rather than sticking to the content I have prepared, I felt that going with the flow of the interview really helped me.

Yep, the only suggestion I can give from just this one interview is, prepare well and be yourself.

Just wanted to mention there are events in Mumbai and Bangalore for IESE... strongly recommend that you show up to those if you plan to apply to the next round or next year https://mba.iese.edu/events/

Hi all,

My interview was over 3 days ago and it was a good experience. Interview happened over WebEx for about 45 min.
1. Overall experience was cool as it was more like a conversation.
2. Expect all basic questions of an MBA interview. You need to have clear answers for all questions like why MBA? why IESE? etc.
3. Something that was unexpected during the interview was related to professional experience. Seems that interviewer is familiar with my job profile and hence there were several in-depth questions related to job profile. I would suggest to prepare very well to present your achievements, international exposure and learnings when you talk about your professional experience.

Hope this helps to someone whose interview is scheduled in next few days.

Quick Intro - I am Krishna, an Indian staying in Thailand.

regards,
Krishna

Hi everyone,

By the way, I also got invite for AD prior to interview and I am sure it is same to most of you who got the invitation.
I am planning to attend AD on 23rd Feb at Singapore.

I have created a group in Whatsapp for those who are planning to attend AD at Singapore. We can do a quick intro and help each other with tips on arrangements. Since some of you may be from Singapore and some of you may be flying to Singapore, I thought this group would be helpful.

Please ping me on my number +66 62709 3619 to add you also into the group.

As a quick note: please keep in mind that once you do join that chat, gmat club can’t guarantee your anonymity.

That said, since it for those who will attend AD and will meet each other anyways, it doesn’t really matter that much.

For Americans applying, this is a good resource on pros/cons of doing an international MBA

Hey there,

just wanted to wish the best of luck to all the people attending the AD this and next week.
remember, just be yourself. The important part is participation, not necessarily being right!

cheers

Well, I was part of the AD in São Paulo, Brazil. For me it was a very good experience, my group connected very well and the theme was very interesting. Overall I saw great candidates from Latam (Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia - sorry if I missed any) and they would all be great classmates.
If I'm not mistaken, there were 56 candidates and almost 50% women (the groups well distributed between genders and different nationalities).
Looking forward to the results in 2 weeks :)

Good to hear.
Now I know everyone is going to be running around super anxious... here’s something to make next week bearable: they don’t do calls the week after the AD, so no need to be nervous next week: you will not get a call.

Oh. Is this applicable even for people attending AD on 23rd. The final date for R2 is 1st March and so I thought the calls will happen between 25th and 28th.
