The GMA discount is valid till end of this year. You just need to book the exam now. Better to apply in R2/R3 with a higher score. There would be plenty of TCS/Infosys men with ~680-700 in the line.

Hello,
It's evident that your profile might be a generic profile, given the competitive IT pool. However, the way you structure and present your profile in your essays or Statement of Purpose (SOP) can make a significant difference.
As for your GMAT score falling within the range of 680-700, it's worth noting that many students with similar scores and similar profiles have been accepted into both IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta. You have a good chance of being considered, but make sure to submit a well-rounded application and excel in the interview process. Given deadline for IIMB is 7th August, we are not sure how would be able to do justice with it.
Regarding TAS as a recruiter, while they may not recruit specifically for this program, it's still worth mentioning in your SOP as a source of motivation or an aspiration you've had. However, keep in mind that placements for different courses happen independently, with no direct interaction among programs. hence, although Tata hires for TAS from PGO IIMB/C, EPGP/MBAEx don't get a chance given their experience pool.
