Your academics are strong. The extra curricular are really nice and being a trained signer and Kathak Dancer adds to your profile. Being a female working in maintenance part of steel industry is also commendable and your work experience will be valued.

For IIMB though, you need to target a GMAT in 690+. That will help you to position yourself a little better in this competition. Profile wise, you must rest assured, just concentrate on getting a better GMAT for now.

Hello people, I need an urgent help. I’m at the test centre and unable to login to the system. I keep getting: “missing information:file exchange error during start up file”. The proctor is unable to help. I called the call centre, they too don’t know. Anybody knows why I’m getting this error?

The admissions team replied: Please open the pdf which you are trying to upload and click on the print icon. In the printer select option choose Microsoft print to pdf and save it as another pdf. Upload this new document. Repeat this for all the uploads if you face the above error.

Please note the length of the file name should be within 40 characters (eg. Name_Testscore.PDF)

Hi, planning to apply for EPGP this year.

I am an IT professional (TCS) with ~5 years of experience. Wanted to understand what sort of impact one aspect of my profile would have on my application.

I made it to the final interview round of Tata group’s General management programme (TAS) but unfortunately did not make the cut. Since TAS is a regular recruiter at Top IIMs, how might they view upon this fact, especially if I were to emphasise on my desire to Pivot into General Management. Also, will citing my lack of business acumen as a reason for not having made it through help my cause.

To add more context, it was a 4 round process and it was open to almost all tata group employees with 2-6 yrs of experience. I was initially planning to apply in R2 (For IIM B/C) but now with the GMAT discount being there, I am exploring whether applying in R1 with a lower GMAT (~680-700) would make sense.
