Calling all IIM Indore EPGP Applicants 2024 Intake, Class of 2025

Can anyone please tell how is the placement in Indore .. In reddit I have seen that many students are unplaced in regular program ... Is the situation same in EPGP (executive program ) of Indore?

Placements are mostly an outcome of the external environment. If the markets are not favorable, people remain unplaced. This is true for all colleges. You can go through the placements figures of colleges on their website. Lets take an example of IIMI EPGP vs IIMA PGPX. As per 2022-23 batch report, for IIMI, 48 out of 57 candidates got campus placements and for IIMA, 128 out of 140 candidates got campus placements.
Placements reports cite various reasons like candidates opting out, being on sabbatical etc. But you get the picture, right? There is not much difference in colleges wherein number of candidates unplaced/opting out of placements is considered. It depends mostly on the market condition of that year.

the highest placements for the One year MBAs in IIMs Indore Kozhikode Shillong were 43.9 LPA this year. Is it possible that they might be the same company that offered the highest packages in all three IIMs?


IIM A PGPX : 10 students did not opt for placements out of 140. Only 130 sought placements and out of them only 128 accepted the offers. 2 did not accept the offers so they remained unplaced.

IIM Shillong don’t provide any assistance in placement thats a student driven activities

We have no idea. Cant comment. No data is available to support or deny.

For 1 year course major IIM mention they only provide CMS service there is not mandatory placement service inside the campus

Just to balance out the view, IIMI report says all 9 out of 57 opted out of placement, so infact no one remained unplaced among those opting for placement.
So, its upto us to interpret these stats.

i have seen in many Youtube videos where they clearly say that 100% placements are counted on the number of people who participated in the placements and not the total number of people in the batch. So I have always been considering all stats on this basis.

also MDI Gurgaon PGDM BM 43.9 LPA highest. Total five institutes with same highest package.

No, this is not true. For 1 year Full Time MBA, all 6 top IIM Provide full placement support.


They accept GMAT/GRE. Also, you can submit the CAT score. The CAT score should be within 2 years from application deadline. Hence a CAT 2022/2023 score will be considered. Also CAT 2023 results are generally published before 15th January (Deadline for EPGP Application). You can contact epgpadmissions@iimidr.ac.in for further details.

Accenture Strategy offered highest package of 43.92 LPA in all five institutes IIM Indore EPGP, IIM Kozhikode PGP-BL, IIM Shillong PGPEX, SPJIMR PGPM and MDI Gurgaon PGDM BM.

Don’t worry about placements. 1 year MBA programs for all 6 top IIM’s are good. Placement will start for most of them in due course of time. IIM Indore EPGP just returned from Italy few days back. My IIM K PGP-BL friends are still in Italy and will return next week. Most probably, Placements will be fine for IIM A,B,C,I,L,K. So, For now focus on your GMAT Score, Profile and Interview Preparation. Best of luck everyone.

Undoubtedly the Placements are great but what if someone wants a post MBA job in a specific field like Product Management and not Consulting Marketing Operations etc ? Assuming all profiles pay equally well but here it’s not just about the money, it’s also about the job profile post MBA that we get during Placements which I’m assuming isn’t in our hands.

Can someone tell me when IIM Indore will start its intake process in 2024 ? Like any idea wrt 2023 intake dates?

Generally, they start their EPGP application from end of November and continue to accept till mid of January.
