Well, I personally don’t think the entire course will be online this year since last year despite of covid, isb did call people to the campus post August (people attended classes online but the physical networking and campus activities happened). So hopefully with more and more people getting vaccinated, things will ease down by August which is when we are supposed to go to campus anyway. But even if that doesn’t happen, I would still want to go for the course this year due to some personal reasons. Again that’s entirely a personal opinion. Hope it helps

by august at max 25 percent of indian population will get vaccinated , isb has maintained its good placement record so that is its biggest positive , and for most of us that is the main thing which matters , other stuffs are just a western outlook for a best MBA experience .

Curious to know what you mean by “western outlook” - a big part of MBA is creating a network and that is what diminishes in an online setup. Getting placements is a pretty narrow and short term way of thinking about an MBA. I would say MBA is an investment - where network creation plays a big role in future returns.

Also didn’t you earlier say that you are not selecting ISB because of online classes? Is there any other factor for which you are considering a US school? Want to hear your thoughts

i would have still put isb at top choice if online classes was not there
Hi! Score is a benchmark and once you have achieved abt 700 score. It’s okay. Overall profile matters the most. What have you done different than others
So I believe I have good extra curriculars, State level in sports in school - hockey, roller skating. Have podcast - was able to get CEOs/VPs/SVPs of top companies. My workex is slightly different - Development Consulting - going to field in villages, dealing with NGOs, CSR programs.
R1 waitlisted candidate here. I wanted to ask a couple of things:
1. Are all R1 results out? Does being on R1 waitlist this late mean rejection? 2. When can we expect the final admission results for R1 waitlist? Some people are saying April 10th, others April 20th and yet others May 15th. My official mail from ISB said April 20th.
Hi. Is the trend of deferred admissions the same as that of the last year? I mean covid situation is worse than the last year, and it makes all the sense in the world to defer - given no other personal constraint.
