Hey MananS4G, Nikhil

I have a query in the application.

I graduated from VIT, Pune in 2009.

The college became autonomous in the 4th (final) year, maintaining its affiliation to Pune University, and changed the grading system to CPI (akin to CGPA) My final year CPI was 8.28 (relative scale of 10)

For the first 3 years, the college was under Pune University and the grading scale was Percentage (Absolute grading scale) My Percentage average for the first 3 years is 60%.
At the time, the University's top score would have been approx 75% as the University would not give high scores.

In my transcript, it's mentioned that I should convert the 8.28 points to a percentage by multiplying by 9 to get an equivalent final year percentage,
which is about 74% (the top score thus would be 10 points x 9 = 90%)

Thus my percentage average is 62.33%. But there is no place in the application, where I can mention the University Highest as approx 75%, so that a fair assessment can be made.
62.33% looks low but relatively its good.

I applied in R2 last year, but felt that I did not represent my academic scores properly, and therefore did not make it.

I have approximately 12 years of work ex. and a decent profile. I gave my GMAT in Jan of this year. Scored 700 V49 Q36.

Hey Everyone, i gave my GRE 2 weeks ago and scored 332. There are few discussions on GMAT club forum regarding GRE and GMAT , and GMAT is considered for granting scholarship. So should i give GMAT or continue with the GRE score and focus more on the application. Any thoughts?

I don’t think so, because I am also going with GRE score. Is there any official word from isb?

NO! its a great score and ISB doesn’t differentiate between the two tests. All these are baseless thoughts mentioned without research!

ISB doesn’t use the conversion tool. The average is 326-327 and this is well above this.

See, the funda is simple. If you are in and around the average, its good. If not, then do you have a profile that is diverse / can bridge that gap? If the answer is yes, then go for it. The GRE range for ISB is 311-335 so there are people who got in with a <326 score.
