Absolutely confused between “initiatives “/ achievements” in the employment details section and the “awards” details in the awards & hobbies section.

Can both of them have any overlap? If not, where do we mention our significant achievements? I’m thoroughly confused on this.

Any help would be appreciated.

If there’s an achievement at work for which you won an award then yes, there can be an overlap. Mention the deed in the achievements section and name of the award in the awards section.
If the significant achievements are at work, then there’s space there. Otherwise, extracurricular.

Hello NARESHNAGAPPA

No evident weakness in your profile. A 700+ GMAT will give you a very strong shot at both ISB and IIMs.
CA background, Automobile industry can really help you stand out.
Since you will be applying next year, use this time to build some extracurricular activities and you are good to go.

Hello ravigupta2912

Work ex, acads, extracurricular all are pretty strong.
Just make sure you present the career goals well. Most people ant to go into Management Consulting as it is fancy, but lack research and the ability to show how they will make this transition successful.

For a self employed person with no reporting HR or Manager, what should we put in Reporting Maanager/HR details in ISB application?

I don’t think there is a place in the ISB application to upload a resume. There’s a section for extra curricular, awards and hobbies, wondering if we should put it there

No there isn’t. Job responsibilities, achievements, eca, awards, hobbies, etc sections are there. That’s pretty much your resume :)

Yes I did. You can PM me for any doubts. Let’s keep this platform open for ISB related questions.

honestly speaking, the education section seems to be for proper formal training so I don’t see myself putting my coursera certifications there. We can think about putting it in additional information box. Does it say that we can only use it to describe exigencies?
