Current cohort’s GRE average is 328. So 332 is well above the average and a great score, congrats!

MananS4G, since you did masters from ISB, I wanted to ask this. Is is true that people with a gmat score below 680 do not get through ISB YLP? How can I strengthen my profile if my GMAT score is low? I have gotten through the 1st stage and my 10th,12th and undergrad scores are not bad (9.2/10 cgpa, 90.2%, 3.63/4 cgpa)

There will be R2. They will probably release the details of R2 soon after Sept 12 (R1 deadline).

I had a ques. IR scores aren’t considered by ISB, right? I read it somewhere on the website long back, just confirming if its valid till date

Yes, IR scores do not hold much of a weightage when your profile is being evaluated.
Your score ,overall profile and academics are evaluated, IR score is barely looked at.

along the same line had a query on how important the quant verbal split in GMAT is for ISB application?

Hi.

I am planning to do mba from ISB. I have a GMAT score of 650. Education 10-88%, 12 -97%, Btech chem engg(NIT) 89%, GATE-AIR35. 4 Years of experience in HPCL & 6months experience in DRDO(Currently working). I have low GMAT score.. should I apply for round 1 or again improve my GMAT score & go for round 2. Experts pl guide

Hey! Couple of things I have heard is that the percentile should be similar. Shouldn’t have a lot of variation. They like to see a balanced percentile. Second, it really depends on what your career goals are. If your career goal is consulting then the quant score would definitely be looked at.

improving GMAT score will increase your chances. There will be many engineering students with a much higher score so you may want to beef it up.

I just took the GMAT and I scored a 690, I have applied for ISB YLP and I’m sure the score is not a safe one. Can someone please guide me as to how to improve my overall application for round 2 to increase my chances of getting an interview call for ISB YLP? Thank you

10th - 9.2/10 cgpa
12th - 90.2%
Under grad up till now - 3.63/4
GMAT - 690
Would this be good enough?

Planning to apply for ISB round 2, tentative dates will be in Jan 2022 and I’m planning to give gmat by October end or November 1st week, should I give gmat earlier for round 2? Whats your suggestion!
