you are comparing apples oranges and rambutans..also, if you’re looking at financial gains immediately after MBA, you won’t get them. The best place in the country to go for an MBA would FMS then.

It’s a medium to long-term play. For e.g. class of 2016’s quoted CTC was around 20-21L and on an average, majority of them are sitting at ~60L packages in India.

And these are purely financial gains, the intangibles aside.

Not sure, although I have heard of a couple of companies recruiting for EMEA - just a handful, though

ISB is a regional school. As it is, there weren’t a lot of international placements pre-pandemic. Post that, number has gone down further. If you’re looking for immediate international placements, then either study abroad or make a move 2-3 years post ISB. There are about 1500 alums outside India right now.

The recent tech downturn is having a huge effect on recruitment. Will it affect admissions too? i.e. the class profile

I called up the number on their website - asked them whether 18th is the date the admits will be released or if it could come sooner.
She said 18th is the date, nothing before it, and all the admits are going to be rolled out together

I think they will conduct...just not as many as on regular interview days..

Under review people did get interviewed...so it’s not yet over ...though 3 day’s notice for an interview could be too close..

I think now they work on maintaining the diversity. How many feom which profile and how many to be called feom under review accordingly. It would take some time

There is not point about speculating. These decisions are not as simple as they might appear and there are more rounds to go as well. R2/R3.

Just got to know the complete Commitment fee story. This is a new addition from this year. They’ll give a date before which you should pay the fee, maybe around Feb 1st (most probably the same date as R3 deadline). They want to make sure that you’ll not choose some other European B-School over ISB at the last moment.
