I am seeking an evaluation of my profile for ISB Round 3. Following my post-graduation, I spent one year in the IT sector before transitioning to a significant 6.5-year tenure in the Indian Customs, a government department. My current objective is to shift my career towards Consulting.
Details of my academic journey:
Studied in a vernacular medium
10th Grade: 69.34%
12th Grade: 75.8%
B.Tech. (IT): 74.46%
GMAT: 680
Short-Term Goals:
My immediate goal is to join a prestigious consultancy specializing in trade and economics. I aim to leverage my experience to assist organizations in navigating intricate regulatory landscapes, optimizing supply chains, and formulating strategies aligned with prevailing trade agreements. Collaborating with a diverse team, I seek to enhance my problem-solving skills and gain exposure across various industries, contributing to clients’ success by aligning strategies with legal policies and international trade dynamics.
Long-Term Goals:
Looking ahead, I aspire to ascend the ranks in the consulting industry, establishing myself as a thought leader at the crossroads of governmental policies and business strategies. I envision leading and shaping consulting projects that demand a profound understanding of international trade, customs regulations, supply and demand dynamics, and legal frameworks.
Extra-Curricular Activities:
Engaged in office debate competitions, securing first and third prizes.
Participated in a self-created Hindi poetry recitation competition conducted by the Nagar Rajbhasha Karyanvayan Samite for all government departments in Mumbai, winning the third prize."
Should I apply in Round 2 or in Round 3 after improving GMAT score ?
