When we say the results for R2 will be out soon - does it mean that only the ones getting the call will get mails or the rejection mails will also be sent alongside?

Both will be sent over mail and will also get updated on isb portal. I have heard that rejection mails are sent just before the acceptance mails. Please correct if wrong.
