When we say the results for R2 will be out soon - does it mean that only the ones getting the call will get mails or the rejection mails will also be sent alongside?

Both will be sent over mail and will also get updated on isb portal. I have heard that rejection mails are sent just before the acceptance mails. Please correct if wrong.

Unsure on how it went for R1 this year, but for last year’s R1 in my experience, the "general" trend once they’ve triggered all emails from their end, is that admits got their emails first. Followed by waitlists, followed by rejects. Again, not a hard and fast rule as some admits (especially the folks with scholarships) received their email late as well. But for like 80-90% of folks, the above seemed to be the case.

If it helps, I believe the official gmatclub account of the ISB PGP starts posting on this thread/chat before they trigger the results. And they announce it here once they trigger it. At which point, people start receiving their emails (and portal updates) in a phased manner, over the span of a few hours.
