SSC – 9.7 CGPA
Intermediate – 97.2%
B. Tech – GVP College, Visakhapatnam – 88.68%
College Topper for all 4 years of Under Grad.
GATE 2019 AIR-201 ranker.
Work Ex: Working from past 5 years at Indian Oil Corporation in LPG Operations and sales in Tamil Nadu. Executed many large value capital projects worth tens of crores. Took up and successfully completed various grassroot projects.
Transitioned thereafter to Maintenance, acting as in-charge for the whole maintenance department of my plant, and won many awards for the plant at All Indian Level. Carried out many innovations which were later implemented all over the country’s LPG Plants.
Total 3.5yrs Exp. in Operations.
Promoted as Asst. Manager and moved to LPG Sales. Acquired many new customers and generated significant growth (More than 10%) in LPG Sales Volume. Total 1.5yrs in Sales till date.
Post MBA Expectations: Targeting Consulting opportunities in Mckinsey, Bain, BCG and Big -4, to create much higher impact than what I was able to at Indian Oil Corp. Leverage my strong Operations and Project Management experience in Consulting.
Short Term Goals (5yrs): Climbing the ladder in a consultancy firm and leading a team of consultants on impactful projects.

Working in PSU Bank since 2013 as officer. Currently Senior Manager Credit.
Passed CFA L1.
Work Ex 12 years (approx)
GMAT OG- 690 (QA50 VA32)
(Will retake)
My job KRAs includes works like heading credit department in a large branch with a team of about 4-5 employees. Supervising works like processing loans, sanctioning, completion of pre disbursement formalities, disbursement and monitoring of the branch loan portfolio.
Have worked as branch manager of a medium size branch with staff strength of 10 for 1.5 yrs.

I am planning to apply in R2 for IIM A B C and ISB

Also, I am curious why you are targeting R2? Are you not confident of getting a better GMAT Focus score by R1 deadline?

Took some free mocks on various platforms first. Then i took both free Official Mock 1 and 2. Total 7 mocks including official ones. On official ones i got 645 and 695 respectively.

As a thumb rule you can safely target a GMAT score close to or above the school average ( the higher the better), there is no magic number. Sharing some thoughts on your profile below:
Strengths of your profile:
  • Strong academic performance.
  • Progressive work experience.
  • Entrepreneurial experience, internships and extracurricular activities.
A possible weakness that you need to look into:
  • 3 years - 4 companies - the skills and professional insights you bring to the table, the tenures seem short (assuming this here since there is no clarity on what's the exact tenure at each, after JSW)
