They have specific format of CV. They have put that format on their portal which should be used. You should mail the updated CV to admission team and check if mail works or you have to upload it somewhere, they will come back.
Thanks. I will update my CV and mail them and raise a service request.

Hence, we request you kindly wait for the application status email.

Hello annonymus7176,

You have a strong GMAT score and the experience with the family business will be value adding as well.

A lot will depend on how you demonstrate the strengths in your profile, describe your need for MBA, and articulate your career goals; in short, essays will need to be compelling.

The following video may prove to be helpful in this regard. Please do watch it:

All the best!

Good academics and GMAT score. You’ll have to demonstrate clearly articulated impact from your role as a financial advisor in the family business. Also, have your narrative around goals sorted in terms of growing family business vs getting into finance/consulting which is a generic aspiration for many applicants. Would be great if you could add some extracurriculars as well to build a well rounded profile. Feel free to reach out to us at Preppie (https://www.preppie.in) for a more detailed discussion

Is your family business into Financial advising or your business is an unrelated field but you are acting as a Financial advisor to your family business?

Graduated from IPU university.

Family business is in hospitality sector. Most of my work was going through all the financial statements and advising on things like do we need new machinery to increase profitability or should we take new contract by analysing cost required and can this cost be recovered in 1 or 2 year.
I knew all about business as i have been involved in it during my college days. So it didn't take much time to go full time.

Hey
Can someone help me with the two essay questions that are new this time. If these is a depository of these type of questions somewhere or if some of you have compiled them. Will be really helpful to go through them once.

Not a comprehensive repository, but here are a few meenalkaushik:

1) In a group project, you have made a mistake. Would you tell your teammates?

2) In a group project, someone made a serious mistake and the professor has asked to replace the person. What would you do?

3) You are at an MBA internship and after the successful delivery of the project, your employer wanted to celebrate and offered to give high value gifts. Some of your peers have already accepted the gift. What actions will you take and how will this affect your relationship with your employer and your peers?

4) Your colleague who is usually a high performer is under a lot of stress and his performance is affecting the team. What actions will you take?

Thank you Ashish. This helps. Are we asked a lot of follow up questions on these as well or just a few to test and then the interviewer moves along to more CV or essay focused questions?

Oh no. You type responses to such like questions on your laptop (at the interview venue) before the actual interview.

The interviewers are not aware of what you typed and so, the actual interview is unrelated to these responses.
