meenalkaushik - It’s advisable to start preparing early for the ISB interviews, given that the time window between shortlist notification and interview would likely be 4-7 days (based on what we’ve seen in Round-1) or less.

This article would help provide guidelines and question types for the personal interview.

Additionally, make sure you’re also prepared for the WAT and ’guesstimate’ questions.

WAT covers a couple of short essays (behavorial questions) with a timeframe of ~20 mins. Some examples have been mentioned above.

Guesstimates become important if your post-MBA goals are consulting. Some examples of this would be ’What’s the size of the chewing gum market in India?’, or ’How many school teachers are there in Mumbai’?. Here, structured problem solving and making (directionally) right assumptions are important. Aim for a logically ’reasonable’ answer than extreme precision.

My resume got rejected because of this reason "The resume should not include any of your Contact information, Social media links, Test scores or Academic scores/ grades/ CGPA/ Marks and Salary. Please upload resume without the above details." But they didn’t provide any link to reupload the resume. What can I do?

They have specific format of CV. They have put that format on their portal which should be used. You should mail the updated CV to admission team and check if mail works or you have to upload it somewhere, they will come back.

A lot will depend on how you demonstrate the strengths in your profile, describe your need for MBA, and articulate your career goals; in short, essays will need to be compelling.

Good academics and GMAT score. You’ll have to demonstrate clearly articulated impact from your role as a financial advisor in the family business. Also, have your narrative around goals sorted in terms of growing family business vs getting into finance/consulting which is a generic aspiration for many applicants. Is your family business into Financial advising or your business is an unrelated field but you are acting as a Financial advisor to your family business?
