I'm very pleased someone gets the reference. Zatopek was an awesome runner and an even better human being. I'm glad at least 2 people on GMAT Club have heard of him.

And happy to look into that status thing. I was pretty curious/impatient myself.

What exactly is the Super Saturday interview? I haven't heard anything about it yet.


I think it's just an option to do your interview on a Saturday as opposed to during the week. You do miss out on doing things like seeing a class, but for someone with my schedule who can't make it to Ithaca during the week it's pretty clutch :-D . I believe they did it once last year.

As far as interview acceptance rate is concerned, I hope this helps

Thanks sourabhsur123 kheown cjcarner ChaoticTheory for providing insight on when you submitted your applications. Doesn't seem to be based on submission date, however, seeing that Chaotic submitted on October 1 (when I submitted mine as well).

Am I freaking myself out for no reason/reading into this too much? Johnson is a top choice of mine (loved the campus and people/culture when I visited) so I am checking the application portal several times a day.

Hopefully it's simply a matter of the admissions committee not getting to my file yet...

It's way too early to go into freakout mode, IMO. If it helps, by the numbers your profile looks similar to mine. I realize that the numbers are far from the entirety of an application, but they do give some indication of your competitiveness for a program, and yours seem pretty solid.
