still waiting for CA, I waited already 1 month after the KIRA interview. kinda losing hope, but meanwhile, just received other lower ranking school's offer with significant amt of scholarship, I think I am gonna take it.

if you are in waitlisted in round 1, i think you still have chance! they put you in waitlist which means you baiscally qualify, but they are not sure for the round 2's qualities, so i think you should at leat wait for round 2 decision date, maybe meanwhile you can contact with the school to update your situation ( like did you take more courses recently? any gmat/gre scores updates? any other improvements or achievements?) i saw some examples on social media who keep contacting with school to update their situation and got offers! so don't losing hopes! i got admitted in UTD ( university of Texas at Dallas) and i just paid for my fees today to secure the seat at leat! and after one night, i though i should wait for RICE deicision then for the next steps.  . Good luck!
