Hi everyone,
A quick question. Apologies if this has already been discussed earlier. Regarding the employers do you put each position separately at an employer or just club them together?

Hello everyone, if I request 'off-campus interview', does that mean I may not have an interview?

'May not' is the right phrase, since according to Kellogg - https://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/programs/full-time-mba/admissions/application-process.aspx
Off-Campus Interview Request
If you indicate your preference for an off-campus interview, you will be notified of your assignment or waiver via email within four to six weeks from the deadline. Off-campus interviews are conducted by admissions officers or members of Kellogg’s Alumni Admissions Organization.

Interview Waiver
Due to the high demand for interviews and limited availability of interviewers, you may receive an interview waiver. Waivers will not have a negative impact on your candidacy. Each year, many applicants who receive waivers are admitted to Kellogg.

Phone or Skype Interview
If your interview request is waived, the admissions office may contact you to schedule a phone or Skype interview. If you receive a waiver, you may not request a phone or Skype interview.

According to posts of R1 candidates they do this waiver thingy to proceed with one's app. If you can do an on-campus interview, it would greatly benefit your candidacy.

Anyone have any idea what they mean by "experiences abroad"?

I.e., if I grew up overseas but went to college in the US, and returned home for work, is growing up + working back home "experience abroad" or is the college in US "experience abroad"?

I think it doesn't hurt to mention it in the "experiences abroad" section. Better than leaving it blank I guess.

I'm sure my location has a lot to do with it, have to imagine there are tons of Kellogg alums in NYC. And I have not submitted my video essay yet.

I had a trip planned for next 2 entire weeks. Cancelled the tickets without talking to the admissions office. Seemed reasonable to me at that time. But now I pity myself. :(

Hey - I didn't schedule my interview with Kellogg on-campus until end of February because of being very busy at work these next two months. Do you think that will hurt my admission at all? Should I try to schedule earlier?

FROM Kellogg MBA Blog: Professor, alum named to Crain’s Chicago Business’ 40 under 40

Clinical Assistant Professor of Innovation & Entrepreneurship David Schonthal ’09 was recently recognized as one of Crain’s Chicago Business’ “40 under 40.”

Schonthal, along with Kellogg alumni Andrew Cittadine ’98 and Steven Collens ’01, formed MATTER, an incubator designed to help innovators navigate the byzantine, convoluted path medical devices must take to market.

Schonthal told Crain’s that the idea to create a local health-tech incubator came from a simple thought: “Why can’t we do cool stuff in Chicago?”
