Got the interview invite today as well. Does anyone know of good resources for interview preparation? I heard that unlike a lot of other top schools, LBS asks you to do a presentation of sorts. Does anyone have more information and ideas on how to prepare? Thanks!

does anyone know what kinds of reference check will be including and How it will be carry? And this will be carry by phone call or email? So I can give them a heads up.

I had to do a video interview for another school. I think it's quite positive. It's a great way for the Ad Com to see you, your presence and your personality. Otherwise they have only your paper application and the alumnus opinion to go off of. I would not worry too much about it unless you get very nervous speaking publicly.

Yes I did get the application in before the deadline. I received the confirmation mail as well.

hi all, so i understand LBS will be doing checks on our referees. does anyone know how these checks will be conducted? will they call our referees, or email them or what? would be nice to know so i can give them a heads up

fyi all, one of my referees was contacted via email and was asked to write back confirming his reference. I guess checks are random and i suspect they will call some or all referees after admittance.

Heyo! I have done a video interview with the same tool for another school. Just go through the practice many times to get a hang of the timing as this will be the biggest challenge. Try to be as succinct as possible.

How's everyone getting on with the video interview and alumni scheduling?

Hi guys, a question!
For you guys doing the video question. What was mentioned in the introductory video for the video interview? Was there anything critical that I needed to hear before answering the questions?

I had net work error so had to do the videos without watching that introductory video... did I miss anything important or was it just a greeting video?

I am preparing for the video interview currently. I will try to finish it later today. I assume the second question will be something like "Tell us about a time you had a conflict" or something like that? Or "How will you contribute at LBS"? These are just my guesses.

As for the actual interview - I sent my schedule for the next several weeks (I have a lot of travel for work so it might be challenging). Have not heard back from them since that email (I sent last week on 10/13). Will send a report once that is booked or once I have finished that. Curious to hear other people's insights into the LBS interview. I'm a bit nervous about the presentation part.

Oh and I also saw what they asked my recommender - basically just to verify that he was the one who submitted the reference. Nothing further about the actual recommendation I don't think.

Good luck all! So stoked on LBS.
