Based off last year, people started getting invites a day earlier at 11am UK time. Which means in an hour... Wonder if it's similar this year.

I think last year was an anomaly. for the class of 2017 and 2016, results were announced on the day they were supposed to be announced.

Fair point. Happy waiting then :-D

Looks like LBS is correcting previous year's anomaly. :-D

diehardmbafan - most of the program features that LBS highlights/markets are there at other B-schools too, with the exception that there is not as much uncertainty of getting a job, let alone the visa, post-MBA. For a vast majority of people, cost is an important consideration and if one cannot recover the loan amount(along with the interest) within a time frame, then it makes little sense to go in for a London MBA than an MBA at any other place. Having said that, the school and its quality of education is still top notch.

Fair point. It would be interesting to see how people fair next year in job hunting exercise.

Can somebody please comment on the odds of receiving an invite to interview? What about if you receive an invite to interview, what are the chances (%) of getting an offer?

Thanks!

As per the analysis of our previous applicant stats, if your GMAT score is greater than 700 then the chances of getting an invite are 40%. See the whole analysis here calling-all-lbs-london-mba-applicants-2017-intake-class-of-221797.html#p1708081

Good luck to all LBS R1 applicants! I know all of you are eagerly waiting for interview invites. Last year the first invite was reported on forum at 11:50 AM (London time); If LBS follows the same pattern, we are likely to get results after 11 AM.

Do we know if they are disbursed throughout the day? Or is all in one go?

'All Admissions Committee decisions are communicated via email and will be sent on the deadline day at approximately 10pm UK time.'

So another 9 hours to go... Somebody mentioned that in the past years the invites for interview were sent around 5pm (UK time).

Reach out to your LBS student/alumni contact. They'll know what to do. There is no dedicated section on the application form for it. I guess they email it to adcom directly or you can attach it as a letter.

Latest on LBS R1 interview invitations. I can see 3 invites on forum stats. If you get an invite, please update your forum profile status and post an update here - it will give some stats and insights for others to look into.
