I emailed back that I can travel to Singapore - the only popular place I can travel to without visa. No reply so far. :shh: It seems you are in Singapore now.

From the decision tracker updates till now, I see that almost all the people in the energy and utilities industry have been denied interviews. Of them, many have good gmat and workex too.

I am not sure whether its just a co-incidence or is there any specific reason behind this.
Would be interested to know if anyone form the energy and utilities industry got a call for the interviews

Could be a number of reasons. Poor essays, Illogical goals, failure to convince LBS that you will attend if admitted.

I have significant experience in energy and utilities (albeit consulting experience) and was invited with a 700 GMAT.

I wouldn't read too much into it.

I think it's going to differ between everyone since I imagine many people will have different interviewers. Some might reply fast, some will reply slowly. I wouldn't worry about it.

How does it usually convert for Indians?
From the interview to the admit?
I am non IB non consulting.
I believe the conversion is really higher for those from ivy consulting or tier 2+ ib

At the interview stage I don't think it matters much.

Think about what you did wrong with the insead application and try to change it for LBS interview

Focus on why LBS and what you can contribute.

Schools are interested in diversity , otherwise every class would be filled with 780 GMAT scores from consultants and bankers

I second what MV23 said - The essays were too draining to think about the video interview just now. I'm hoping to get to get to it next week. Meanwhile, the wait for INSEAD goes on...
