Hello Swat40,

Is there any information out there whether having a PR makes it easier or difficult to get through. I also have a PR. In case the school has certain preferences about the ratio of domestic to international students.

Congratulations!! How was your experience?

Also, How long after you got the mail saying your application was complete and being considered for round 1 did you get the interview call?

Asking cause I got this mail on 15th October.

I received the "application complete" confirmation on Sep 28 and the interview invite on Oct 5. I was asked to choose from a list of available slots between Oct 7 - Oct 14. I choose Oct 13, 10.30 Indian time.

Interview experience was good. I was asked to introduce myself, the kind of work I have done, and the successes I have had, etc. For the most part, it was rather conversational and the interviewer was mainly interested in understanding my motivation behind doing an MBA at this stage of my career (I am 32 years old), and what I expect from the school. There were a few essay-specific questions and some questions about my perception of the Australian job market, as I have worked in Australia for 5 years. Then I was asked if I had any final questions/thoughts, which went on for another 15 mins. The interview was around 40 mins in total.

Hi all, I applied for Round 2 and also applied for the Kraft Heinz scholarship.
I haven't received any communication from the MBS team after submitting the application however today I received an email that I was selected for the Kraft Heinz Scholarship and my name along with a few others will be sent for final selection. While the MBS team confirmed that the MBA and Kraft Heinz Scholarship apps are different and so I still need to wait for the MBA team to get back to me, should I consider this a positive sign?
I ask because it seems counter-intuitive for them to move my scholarship app forward without also considering me a good candidate for the MBA program.
