my status still says incomplete , waiting for GMAT score.
I have received confirmation from GMAC that the score report was sent to UT.
I guess it takes time for them to update the status.

FYI. Interview invites starting to go out. I'm based out of Chicago which appears to be the first stop along there Hub Cities on Oct. 27 and Oct. 28. I will be interviewing with an admissions officer here in Chicago. I wanted to head down to Austin to interview but its the busiest time of the year at work. Hook 'em!

Just got my interview invite. We have the option to schedule the interview with a second year student (skype) or an alumni (near your location) . I would prefer a in person interview but then I have to travel for that and the schedule is a little busy.
Anyone who can give me more suggestions. How different are the experiences with a second year student and an alum
I am just a beginner this will be my second interview (first on 27 oct) so any tips and advice are welcome

1) What's the general conversion rate from an interview to an admit?
2) What kind of interview do you guys suggest for an international candidate since on campus is not an option?

I am on the same boat as you. Got an invite but I am not sure which option to take. I would have preferred face to face interview with an alumni but there is no alumnus in new delhi.
So I am not sure if I should travel all the way to Mumbai.
Other option is Skype.
Which one are you selecting?

Well if that's the case, Skype remains the only option. Don't think I can travel to Mumbai this soon... specially considering the Diwali break. I don't think I'll get more leaves for the following week (which is when I suppose it's scheduled to happen).

I'm from Delhi as well. Planning to schedule a Skype Interview..traveling to Mumbai seems difficult as I will be traveling to Bangalore on those dates for work.

Kudos to you too! Yeah I guess Skype is the way to go for people like us. Also, have they released the calls region wise? Everyone in India seems to be from Delhi :P

Also, I actually meant interview conversion ratio. The 30% quoted figure is actually admits/applications.

On a general note, does this mean that the invitations are all done? Or is it on a rolling basis?

Are you guys sure there is no alumni showing from Delhi region? I could see two from Gurgaon, I suppose that would be better than having to consider traveling to Mumbai!

I submitted the application on the 10th. Payment made on the 12th. I really don't know if invites are done or not. Although it's really making me curious that all the invites here are from Delhi.

Yes, just search with "India", don't put any other filter. You should be able to see some 6-7 alumni out of which two are from Gurgaon region.

I submitted mine on 14th, just a couple of hours before the deadline. Payment made two days later. In fact my recommendation was submitted on 18th because manager went MIA right before my application submission, giving me many panic attacks! :)

Btw, Bangalore applicant here. Any I have only one option for Alumni. Any suggestions if Alumni interviews are recommended over Skype ones? I am apprehensive that being Diwali season he may not be available.
