I interviewed with an alum in Florida this afternoon. The interview was fairly informal. She took notes and seemed to be filling out a worksheet, but it was still conversational. I don't remember everything that she asked, but here's what I remember:
1) Walk me through your resume (we discussed our confusion at McCombs requiring a completely blind interview)
2) Why MBA?
3) Why McCombs?
4) Describe a time you worked in a diverse group. How was it? How did you deal with conflict?
5) What constructive criticism have you received? How did you respond? What did you learn?
6) What did you learn about yourself during the MBA application process?
7) Describe a time you developed (found?) an innovative solution to a work problem. Was it successful?
8) Anything you'd like to add?
9) Any questions for me?
She also asked me what other schools I applied to and how UT ranks (for me) among them, but she had closed her notebook at that point and I think she was just curious. I don't think she wrote down my answer. We chatted for a bit about business schools and life while at business school. Overall, the interview was just shy of an hour long.
Good luck, everyone!
