spoke too soon, got the interview invite this morning and interview to be held in 12 hours (skype), so if you are a r3 applicant and haven't heard from them it's still possible :)

Bro. Even I got waitlisted in R1 and then waitlisted in R2 as well. I just requested someone from my organization to write another letter of recommendation for me to strengthen my application.

Would you mind sharing your profile since you got an interview invite on 4th May. Also, please mention your country and your GMAT score if you dont mind. McDonough will anyway be my first choice and am still awaiting an interview call although I think the chances are very dim now.

Since I applied, I have received like 10
Diff emails from them (including this one), none of them confirming my admission. :/

I wonder if they only sent this to people who have interviewed?

Well, I received the same email just a few days before the round 2 notification date. I am a round 2 applicant. At that time I was without an interview. On the round 2 notification date I was wait listed and I am still awaiting an interview call !

Got the same contact information email like everyone else so I guess ultimately we can't read anything into it. I would think if they already sent that email to you in one of the previous rounds they wouldn't send it again.

As did I -- I really wouldn't read too much into them, it's simply an automated message for updated contact information - simple as that. Even if they wanted to reject someone, they would still need updated information! Good luck everyone!

Hear back ON 5/15 (versus just BEFORE 5/15) ?

Curious, I was R2 applicant who was invited to interview and then waitlisted. The waitlist email partially made it seem that I would potentially be interviewed again in R3, but i havent heard anything from them. any other R2 waitlistees confused about this as well. maybe its a sign for a ding?

why did the wait-list email make it seem that u would be interviewed again?..i'm guessing everyone gets the same wait-list email AFTER choosing to stay on the waitlist..

Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business recently announced it has received a gift of $10 million from alumnus Robert Steers and his wife Lauren Steers to launch a new center focused on global real estate. Steers is the CEO of Cohen & Steers Inc., a pioneering global investment manager and the first investment company to specialize in listed real estate.

This gift will create the Steers Center for Global Real Estate to help students prepare for real estate careers through practical experience with an increasingly international focus. The center will offer one-on-one career planning for students, hands-on learning through a real estate clinic, and a growing focus on global opportunities through consulting projects and career treks.

Georgetown McDonough says it has developed a real estate curriculum that allows MBA students and undergraduates to work on real estate projects and to underwrite live real estate transactions. New courses in real estate equity, real estate debt, negotiations, investment analysis, a real estate clinic, and more will help the school reach its goal of becoming the premier destination for global business education.

“It was important to me to see Georgetown McDonough create a formal real estate center with the financing to be permanent and to think and plan strategically,” says Steers, a 1975 McDonough School of Business graduate. “To be a preeminent school and center, we need to constantly strive to innovate and come up with additional strategies that prospective students and employers look at and say ‘wow, that’s really something special.’”

My email says ON 5/15 as compared to "by" or "no later than". I figured that everyone got the same automated email but I would be curious if anyone got something else or has already heard.
