I created a list of questions to ask alumni both to get better understanding of the school and also from an application point of view. Some of these questions are a little tech focused but in general most of these questions should give you deep insights
- [ ] Why did you pick this school ?? What differentiates it ??
- [ ] Any exceptional professors/courses that you would suggest everyone must take ??
- [ ] What professional and social clubs did you join and how they impacted you ??
- [ ] In what specific ways do you find the school’s values present on campus ??
- [ ] What’s your favourite spot on campus ??
- [ ] What is one thing you would recommend me to do at campus ??
- [ ] What is one thing you would do differently if you had the chance and what is one thing you regret not doing during MBA ??
- [ ] How did you prepare for your MBA Interview - Any resources, what was the format like and your experience in general ??
- [ ] Describe your MBA journey in 1 sentence each for the professional and personal impact it had on you
- [ ] How can one start a club/SIG(Special Interest Group) ?? What is the nomenclature for these at school ??
- [ ] How did your goals evolve over your MBA journey ??
- [ ] How do you think the school helped you realise these goals ??
- [ ] Which technology companies actively recruit at the program ?? For which locations and roles ??
- [ ] Should I go for tech-strategy consultant roles or Product Management roles - Where do I have a better shot ??
- [ ] Are there certain companies that more commonly hire and sponsor international students ??
