Okay, thankyou...so if we get only 1 year of opt then it’s highly impossible to continue in US at later point right.

The process of getting an F1 visa before you begin the program is separate from the process of getting your OPT, which you will start applying for few weeks before graduation.

In Round 1, interview invites were rolled out after a month

I don’t think R2 candidates should expect anything before Feb 10th

I am a round 2 reapplicant. Last year we were notified from Soojin’s blog about when interviews invits were being sent out. From what I can tell, it looks like she did the same thing for round 1 applicants this year.

I seem to remember that it was in February last year.

Hey Nikhil, I think there has been some confusion. This was the timeline they shared for R2 last cycle. But I guess it can give us an idea about a general timeline give or take a few days.
