Looks like adcom is following the same "hub city" method from previous years. Purely a guess, but based on last year's thread, I think westcoasters like us will start hearing next week.

For Chicago, it looks like the first interview invite last year was Dec 18 (vs Dec 3 for Boston), so it looks like we in the Midwest have a while to go.

just kidding folks. Don't worry about those marketing emails. I am pretty sure the adcoms who decide on the application do not send out marketing emails.

I would say no, this guy got an invite on 12/16/2009 and this guy got an invite on 12/18/2009. Ding day was 12/18/2009.
